Set at what was once the local hub of the Texas Electric Railway as it ran its line between Denison and Dallas from 1908 until 1948, the Interurban Railway Museum collects and displays items of relevance to the historical railway and the town. Display pieces include a restored railway car, a scale model of the rotary converter that powered the cars and many smaller pieces of memorabilia. Located at Haggard Park, the downtown museum sits near the ArtCentre of Plano.
